REVELATIONS
So much is revealed! F8’s real name, first kill, and connection to Dee! The last part comes to nobody’s surprise, although the story itself is more twisted than anyone suspected. Also twisted: one of the players gets a house call and has to dig through a victim’s ashes for his clue.
F8 posts his 8th sleep therapy session on Friday, 9/10/2010. It seems as though this therapy session is his final one:
F8: You know, I think I’m in the midst of a, uh, revelation. I’m actually considering posting a testimonial on your site.
IRIS: Is there anything else you would like to talk about?
F8: Ah…you know, Iris, I don’t have much else to say. Maybe that’s a sign that I’m ready to proceed on my own.
Shortly thereafter, players find a testimonial from him on Sleep Superbly’s site:
I was quite the skeptic when it came to therapy but I must say, Sleep Superbly has completely changed my mind. I would definitely recommend this to my friends, especially those who’ve had experiences that keep them up at night.
Wouter notices that the word “therapy” from the testimonial is actually a hidden link to a YouTube video:
The video shows clips of two kids having therapy sessions, with a couple of newspaper articles flashing by. It reveals that the two kids, Dee Pratt, the Serial Huntress, and Driscoll Connor, who now appears to be the Infinity Killer, were both kidnapped when they were 8 by another serial killer, the Roulette Killer. Roulette’s MO was to force his victims into killing one another based on the results of twisted games of chance.
As it turns out, Driscoll and Dee were forced to play “Spin-the-Gun.” When the gun landed on Dee, Driscoll turned and shot the Roulette Killer instead of killing her. This would make the Roulette Killer Infinity’s first kill. Talk about an early start.
Dee posts responds to this development in a video.
Then, a man brings an urn filled with Lance Andrewson’s ashes to player jsena333. He reads a eulogy and gives jsena333 the urn with an infinity symbol carved onto the top. The urn contains ashes and a jewelry box with a wedding ring inside. The ring is engraved with “FOR MY LOVE LANCE,” thus confirming Lance as one of F8’s victims.
In the meantime, the Surplus Medical Supply site found earlier is hacked with this image:
The image leads to www.iamalwaysthinkingofyou.com/memories, which features a video likely made by F8 of him following Dee, and even talking with her in an elevator.
Dee responds to the footage in a blog post, in which she says that the video was taken during her years at the FBI, and that the Surplus Med Supply company has been under suspicion for performing “unlicensed plastic surgeries.” Dee believes that F8 altered his appearance, which is why she didn’t recognize him despite the fact that he was so close to her.
F8 hacks into the Surplus Med Supply site again, this time with the message “Ananta Tech Labs.” The site www.anantatechlabs.com belongs to an IT company based out of Miami. One of the clients of the company is Sleep Superbly, and the founder of Ananta Tech Labs is a man named Eric Somrock, who players suspect to be F8’s current identity. Dee updates her blog to say that she followed that trail yet by the time she and the Miami Metro PD reached Eric’s residence and the address of Ananta Tech Labs the place was deserted.
Looks like Infinity is really teasing the Huntress – giving her his real name, and forcing her to relive their shared trauma. How will she respond?
